DJI Goggles

DJI announced the DJI Goggles with the release of the Mavic Pro and we have been on the edge of our seat ever since waiting for specs and pricing. Well, they have finally released the specs, pricing and availability.

The DJI Goggles will be compatible with the DJI Mavic and connect wirelessly via the OcuSync technology, this technology enables four devices to be connected to the drone wirelessly all at the same time (example is two DJI Goggles and to Mavic Remote Controllers).

The DJI Goggles will also be compatible with the Phantom 4/Pro/Pro+/Advanced/Advanced+, Inspire 1, Inspire 2, Matrice 100, Matrice 200, Matrice 600/600 Pro, Phantom 3 Pro/Advanced. This is achieved by using the Goggles HDMI input from the remote controller. (Please note that the Phantom 4/Pro/Advanced and Phantom 3 Pro/Advanced will require the HDMI Module in order to use the DJI Goggles). The HDMI input also transmits audio, which allows for the Goggles to be used with almost any device that has an HDMI output. The Goggles will also accept 3.5mm headphones, so you can use your own headphones instead of the built in speakers for audio. In addition to the HDMI and audio inputs, the DJI Goggles also include a Micro-SD slot, this allows you to backup and view video files you have captured.

Pricing for the DJI Goggles will be priced at $449 and estimated ship date is May 31st, 2017.
