The DJI Mavic 2 Pro incorporates a Hasselblad camera for exceptional image quality with superior light and color performance. The new and improved Hasselblad camera houses a 1-inch CMOS sensor with a 10-bit color profile. With a higher bit rate color profile the camera capture four times as many levels of color per channel in relation to the older DJI Mavic Pro. This provides maximum flexibility for photo and video editing.

Featuring a 1-inch CMOS sensor, the Mavic 2 Pro will have a resolution capability of 5,472 x 3,648 (20MP), a 10-bit video codec, a 28mm wide-angle lens and a variable mechanical aperture ranging from F2.8 to F11. ISO ranges from 100-6400 (stills) and 100-12800 (video) and an HLG (Hybrid Log-Gamma is a high dynamic range, see Wikipedia) mode, shutter speed maxes out at 1/8000 and lastly, the video delivers 4KUHD @ 30fps, 2.7K @ 60fps, FHD @ 120fps at 100Mbps.

The new Mavic 2 models weigh more than the original Mavic Pro and Mavic Pro Platinum. With the Mavic 2 Pro weighing in at 907 gram and the Mavic 2 Zoom weighing in at 905 grams, these new models are significantly heavier than the Mavic Pro. With the extra weight come extra benefits though. The new drones will be able to achieve a top speed of 72 km/h or 45 mph, they will have a maximum altitude of 6 km or 3.75 miles and a flight time of 31 minutes. The old Mavic Pro topped out at 65 km/h or 41 mph, 5 km or 3.125 miles and 27 minutes respectively.

Even more exciting is Ocusync 2.0. This new transmission system is featured in the Mavic 2 models. Ocusync 2.0 provides 1080p video stream up to 8 km or 5 miles. The original Mavic utilized Ocusync with a live stream of 720p up to 7 km 4.373 miles. Thus this is a step up in both quality and distance.

1. 35 mm equivalent focal length.
2. Unobstructed, free of interference, when FCC compliant.
3. Acquired at a constant speed of 25 kph, free of wind. Actual flight time may vary because of the environment and use of flight modes.
4. The DJI Goggles support a 2.4 GHz frequency band only, while the DJI Goggles RE support both 2.4/5.8 GHz frequency bands and real-time auto-switching for better performance.
5. Due to local policies, some countries do not support 5.8 GHz transmission.
6. HNCS was developed to offer a single color profile that optimized an image to bring out a wider array of colors and improved contrast, to a multitude of subjects. Standard color profiles often fall short when working with the subtle aspects of natural colors of varying subjects, applying too much or too little of an effect on tones.
7. Available on the Mavic 2 Zoom only.
