The all new DJI Matrice 600 M600 hexacopter was created for use in both professional aerial videography, as well as industrial applications. The all new platform was designed to integrate with DJI technologies such as, the A3 flight controller, LightBridge 2 video downlink system, Intelligent Batteries and their Battery Management system. This integration allows for maximum performance, as well as a fast setup time.




The M600 hexacopter features a modular folding design that allows for easy setup within minutes. It also features a dust proof propulsion system the simplifies maintenance, the motors also provide active cooling which makes for more reliability during long periods of flight. The M600 is compatible with all Zenmuse camera/gimbal systems, and allows for a maximum payload of 6kg which allows it to fly the all new Ronin-MX gimbal system.




The M600 uses sine-wave drives smart ESC’s to assure it functions accurately, safely and efficiently. The all new A3 Flight Controller has self-adaptive flight systems that automatically adjust flight parameters based on the payload being used on the copter.

The M600 uses 6 small DJI Intelligent batteries, similar to the Inspire 1 or Matrice 100 series batteries. These small batteries allow for the unit to be shipped almost anywhere and provide critical battery data to the flight controller. It also has a customized battery management system and power distribution board that has the ability to turn on all six batteries with one button press. This system also keeps the M600 in flight in the event of a single battery failure. in combination with the extended flight times, the M600 features a flight range of up to 5km, while maintaining ultra-low latency HD image transmission for capturing the perfect shot each time.




The Matrice 600 includes the DJI LightBridge 2 video downlink system which offers high frame rates and HD live streaming. USB, mini-HDMI and 3G-SDI ports support video output at up to 1080p/60fps or a broadcast standard output of 720p/59.94fps and 1080i/50fps.




The DJI Matrice M600 is powered by the DJI GO app and the all new DJI Assistant 2 computer based software. The DJI GO app provides all relevant flight and camera data to the user, it also allows for on the fly changes of the copters characteristics and camera settings. The all new DJI Assistant 2 provides the M600 with firmware updates and features and all new Ground Station.




The M600 is fully compatible with the DJI Onboard SDK and Mobile SDK to meet the requirements of those building software for industrial applications. It has a dual parallel CAN and API ports for connecting DJI devices including the Guidance sensor system, the RTK GNSS units or third party components of your choice.




The DJI Ronin-MX 3 Axis Gimbal Stabilizer System was created with the professional cinematographer in mind, it has been engineered to carry many of the cameras that are being used everyday on sets worldwide. The exclusive SmoothTrack™ algorithms ensure movements are smooth in every configuration. The battery has been relocated to improve balance and handling of the gimbal. Stability has also been enchanted due to the improvements made to the camera cage, it allows cameras to be locked from the top and bottom for and extra secure hold.




The Ronin-MX’s powerful motors and IMU’s were designed to resist the high G-forces that can occur when used in extreme shots. The Ronin-MX can be mounted to the Matrice M600 aerial platform, allowing users to fly more cameras than ever before. It can also be connected to an optional GPS module which allows it to actively stabilize for a smoother shot.




The Ronin-MX features a slip ring which allows it to rotate 360° constantly, this can be done when mounted to an aircraft or a vehicle. The tilt axis has also been enhanced with more range of motion, it will now travel from 90° straight down and beyond to 135°. As with the other Ronin series models, the Ronin-MX features the three modes of operation, as well as smooth track.




The DJI Ronin-MX is compatible with other DJI products such as the LightBridge 2, DJI Focus and Focus Expansion Module. An optional Remote Start/Stop add-on provides the ability to control shooting on a range of airborne cameras.




When used with the DJI Assistant and Assistant app for iOS and Android, the Ronin-MX can be customized to each users preferences. When connected to the LightBridge 2, the DJI GO app is used to control how the M600 flies, include the multiple Intelligent Flight Modes, remote control modes, and also operate the gimbal and watch and HD live view from the camera.

Using DJI Assistant and the dedicated Assistant app for iOS and Android allows complete customization of the Ronin-MX and its behavior. If connected to LightBridge 2, the DJI GO app can be used to control how the M600 flies including Intelligent Flight Modes, remote control modes, move the gimbal and see an HD live feed from the camera.
