As of December 21st, 2015 all owners of drones(small unmanned aircraft) must register with the Federal Aviation Administration(FAA) before February 19th, 2016. This registration applies to new and former drone owners and users. New users must register their drone before conducting their first test flight, they also must have proof of registration with them when operating the drone.

If registration is completed before midnight EST, January 20th, 2016, then your $5 registration fee will be refunded.
